Baghdad (AIN) –The Premier Nouri al-Maliki agreed with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq to conduct Maliki’s visit to Kuwait before holding next Arab Summit in Baghdad.
A statement by Maliki’s office cited Tuesday “Maliki received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq Ali al-Mumin in his office in Baghdad on Tuesday,” noting that “Maliki confirmed Iraq’s adherence to build constructive relations with all Arab Countries, especially Kuwait.”
Maliki called to start a new stage of relations characterized by mutual respect and forget the past troubles, according to the statement.
For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq expressed the desire of the Kuwaiti Emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to develop the relations with Iraq on all fields.
Al-Mumin renewed inviting Maliki to visit Kuwait as soon as the new Kuwaiti government is formed.
The statement concluded as saying “Both Maliki and Mumin agreed to conduct Maliki’s visit to Kuwait before holding the next Arab Summit in Baghdad.” /End/
