BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki agreed with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq to visit Kuwait before the coming Arab Summit, according to a Premiership statement today.
The statement, as was received by Aswat al-Iraq, noted that Maliki received yesterday the Kuwaiti Ambassador Ali Al-Mu'min, where he stressed the "keenness of Iraq to have constructive relations with all Arab countries, particularly Kuwait".
He stressed to start a new stage dominated by trust, mutual respect and forget the past.
On his side, Ambassador Mu'min confirmed Kuwaiti desire to develop bilateral relations with Iraq and renewed the invitation to visit Kuwait after forming the new government there.
Both sides agreed that the visit will be made before convening the coming Arab Summit due in Baghdad, according to the statement.
