Tehran - Minister of Health Marziyeh Vahid Dastjerdi expressed on Saturday Iran's full readiness to cooperate with Iraq in the field of medical education, training medical workforce, research and supplying Iraq with medical equipment.
She made the remarks in "the first meeting of Iran-Iraq health care officials in Tehran.
Outlining her ministry's scientific achievements in the feild of health care and medical services, Dastjerdi said Iran is manufacturing 85 percent of its needed medical equipment and is ready to transfer its technological know-how to Iraq.
Pointing to the visit of 21-member Iraqi delegation to Iran, she said the visit indicates the two countries' willingness to boost medical cooperation.
