Twilight News / revealed the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, Monday, the decision taken to increase the salaries of retirees who have been referred to retire before 2008, and numbered 540 thousand, indicating that it is proposed that the minimum pension of 600 000 dinars.
A member of the parliamentary Finance Committee Najiba Najib's "Twilight News" that "the Finance Committee during the meeting concluded late last night to decide to increase the salaries of those who have been referred to retire before the year 01.01.2008."
Najib explained that "the public pension provided to our Committee the number and names of those who have been referred to retire before 01.01.2008 and the Alfa 540's."
It is said that the parliamentary finance committee confirmed that, earlier, they will take into account the current year budget in 2012 to increase the salaries of retirees.
Najib and showed that "the Finance Committee presented a proposal that the minimum pension for this category 600 thousand dinars, and Aseetm decision on this subject at our meeting today with experts and officials from the Ministry of Finance."
And continued "after the vote on the budget resolution will initiate a parliamentary committee discussing the amendment the salaries of employees and submit a draft to increase the salaries of all retirees."
The Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi, announced on 8 December 2011, that the budget year 2012 will not see any increase in the salaries of employees or retirees, pointing out that the issue of increases in salaries is the most important files objectionable International Monetary Fund.
