Increased severity of competition among companies to invest in Iraq

Major industrial countries still in the world looking for a foothold in Iraq, has seen a recent intensification of shadhaltnavs between companies for investment opportunities in Iraq, taking advantage of the benefits provided by the investment code and Iraqi business investors in Iraq, the US trade delegation discussed with an investment venture in Basra, in a joint Conference of representatives of the Iraqi and American Chambers of Commerce.
Investment Chief said Basra Haider Fadel Agency (aknews) that "the US trade delegation briefed on investment opportunities in conservation through detailed studies on investment and the most important features in reality".
"The Conference discussed the mechanism for inter-agency coordination between investment Basra, US Chamber of Commerce, as well as creating a partnership between local and US companies."
Fadel said that "the Conference was held in the presence of eight US firms in the sectors of energy, industry, finance and other" local "Government Basra has two billion dollars earmarked for infrastructure projects is available for all domestic and foreign firms to set up various projects." and noted that "there are a number of US companies already have been granted investment leaves, and is currently working at the Centre and outskirts of the city without using protection companies.''
