Announced yesterday for the creation of a bilateral agreement with Turkey to ensure that Iraq's share of water.
The MP said Khalid Djiashi in a statement the "morning": that "the Convention will be signed after the formation of new Council of Representatives in Turkey."
He declared in Turkey last week for the results of Turkish elections, where he won the Justice and Development Party, led by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a majority of the votes.
He Djiashi: "The parliamentary delegation went last week to Turkey for the purpose of discussing a range of outstanding issues between the two countries," he said, adding that the most important of those issues is the water and how to develop a new mechanism for the distribution process as the subject "important tributary" of the tributaries of life without problems.
"The Iraqi delegation to explain to his Turkish counterpart, the tragic situation gripping the country at the moment because of the scarcity of water and the results of the situation of the deterioration in the agricultural sector," adding that the delegation reached a "set of solutions that will appear on the ground in the near future ".
The Djiashi that the two sides agreed to create a bilateral agreement between the two countries for the purpose of organizing and ensuring Iraq's share of water from Turkey.
The Government considered the recent strategic agreement between the two countries abolished, in the case of Ankara remained determined to reduce the water share of Iraq, but Turkish President Abdullah Gul said the parliament speaker Osama Najafi said his country will solve these problems after the Turkish elections.
