BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Parliament agreed on Thursday to buy 350 armored vehicles for the lawmakers with a budget ranges between 50 to 60 billion dinars, a parliament's source said.
"The parliament voted to buy 350 armored vehciles for the parliamentarians," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"MP Haiday al-Abadi, from the State of Law (Dawlat al-Qanoon) refused to vote, justifying that service projects more important for citizens than buying armored vehicles," he added.
