BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: The head of al-Iraqiya Bloc in the Iraqi Parliament, Salman al-Jumaili, called for the finances allocated to buy armored vehicles should instead be transferred to victims of terrorism.
Jumaili told Aswat al-Iraq that his bloc will not endorse the allocation of funds for the armored vehicles.
MP Haidar Ibadi of the State of Law Bloc, which holds 89 seats in Parliament, stated he voted against this resolution, but his voice was ignored.
"Most of the bloc's MPs did not vote for the resolution," he pointed out.

23, Aswat al-Iraq reported that the Iraqi Parliament agreed to buy 350 armored vehicles for the lawmakers.
The move has been met with opposition by certain parliamentary members.
