Said the Iraqi Human Rights Ministry, Wednesday, that the exchange of prisoners that took place between Iraq and Saudi Arabia will not include people sentenced to death, said a spokesman for the ministry's secretary-full (Rn),
"The issue is not released but are based in one of the meetings of Ministers of Justice and Interior, which he is the exchange of prisoners to serve their sentences in their countries." For his part, Minister of Justice Hassan Shammari for the ministry is ready to hold the Convention on the exchange of prisoners and detainees with the State of Libya in the event of approval of prime minister. Al-Shammari said during a meeting with a delegation representing the Libyan government transition, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Nasser Al-Mana said the number of inmates Libyan prison of (14) governed by, four of them were condemned to death and the remaining ten issued against them judgments different jurisdictions, either the number of Libyan prisoners in the prisons of the Ministry of Interior of (18) detainees. The minister called on the Iraqi embassy in Libya to the receipt of the draft Convention on the exchange of prisoners between the two countries and sent to the Ministry for submission to the Prime Minister for presentation to the House of Representatives of legislation and ratification. Shammari said, "The ministry will work to provide possible facilities to visit the families of the detainees for their children in the prisons of the country." For his part, the Libyan delegation expressed his happiness for the great cooperation shown by the Ministry of Justice to cooperate in the exchange of prisoners agreement, stressing their desire to hold other agreements for the development of real estate registration departments, notaries and minors.
On the other hand, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Human Rights that "the living situation in Iraq is much better than previous years and some international organizations rely on the reports are not accurate with regard to living situation." He explained fully the Secretary that "Iraq is a plan of scientific and distinct to get rid of the topic of poverty and tackle unemployment," This comes at a time revealed Organization of America Iraqi Human Rights in a statement that there are seven million Iraqis are living in extremely poor conditions as a result of extreme poverty that exists in Iraq, loaded with government full responsibility.
