Al-Maliki draws Iraq funds Protection Committee to disclose the fate of the missing

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Iraq funds Protection Committee, the follow-up file missing billions during the time of the US civil administrator Paul Bremer and reveal the fate of these funds soon, said a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister received the "morning" copy: "given the pool several indicators that show the existence of suspicions about the fate of Iraqi money worth (17.5) billion dollars were confiscated, impounded or withdrawn from the Development Fund for Iraq since the fall of the former regime."
It added: "the Prime Minister in Iraq funds Protection Committee, and the problem under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister Roj Nuri shawis as well as membership both Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Minister of Finance Dr rafaa Al Issawi, Justice Minister Hassan Al-shammari and Central Bank Governor and legal adviser to the Prime Minister, in follow-up to this file and disclose the fate of these funds as soon as".
The Prime Minister was given the investigative Committee with all necessary powers to investigate any official connection with matter or has information on him without exception.
He also called for the US Government and the Iraqi authorities to cooperate with and support the Commission with all the required work and assist it in accomplishing its task fully.
It is said that "the morning" was the first effects of the case, through the dissemination of information on the disappearance of these billions during Bremer.
Student speaker of the House of Osama alngivi, Vice President Joseph Biden on Tuesday, an official investigation and responsible for sums up to more than (5) billion dollars were disbursed from the Development Fund for Iraq.
Alngivi said: that these amounts disbursed from “ without showing any documents or receipts justify or prove the Exchange destination type ”. He also stressed that efforts were being made to the financial regulatory bodies in both Iraq and the United States for information collection and disclosure of the circumstances.
