Maliki: the need to change and form a government of national unity in Syria
BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Tuesday, the need for change in Syria through the formation of a government of national unity, the first place.
Maliki said in a press statement that "Iraq supports the change in Syria through the formation of a government of national unity, beginning," stressing the importance of "fair elections under the supervision of UN and Arab shall be elected by the National Council to approve the constitution."
Maliki said that "The security situation in Syria will not be stable, except in the case of a change and the granting of freedoms enough to form a new government."
In the context of a separate Prime Minister explained that "Arab countries have insisted on attending the Summit through next March," denying the existence of "problematic in the presence of heads of ministries or the military tribunal to represent their countries at the top, especially in the countries that have not completed the political system until now."
Maliki pointed out that "Iraq is seeking to build strong relations with Saudi Arabia based on the clarity and direct dialogue and not through intermediaries who may spoil the relationship more than what they serve sometimes."
The Prime Minister called for "opening up of the Arabs to each other," noting that "states will reveal that there are a lot of the elements of good relationship and thus realized the common interests and be with each other first, and between us and the world II", as he put it, "/ End /
