According to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon to form a government of national unity in Iraq will remove the risk of the "Islamic state".
Ban called in a statement released overnight on Saturday, August 9th / August Iraqi political forces to the appointment of a new prime minister on the dates prescribed by the country's constitution and form a government approved by all segments of Iraqi society.
He added: "Such a government will be able to encourage people to confront the threat posed by" Islamic state "as well as peace and stability in the country.
Ban expressed deep concern over the humanitarian situation in Iraq, which is witnessing a marked deterioration because of the militants, "an Islamic state" who took control of one-third of the country's territory.
