Seismic observatories recorded the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Transport a series of earthquakes north of the city of Amara near the Iraqi border - Iranian in the first hours of Wednesday, 29/2/201
A statement of the network received by the agency all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that it "was recorded earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale in the second hour after midnight and at a distance [78] km north of the city of Amara, and about [42] km from the city on the western "
The statement added, "and followed by five aftershocks ranging from 5.2 to 5.3 on the Richter scale in the same area at five in the dawn of the day 2/29/2012," noting that "a detailed report will be prepared later."
The area had been in 2008 similar to a series of earthquakes and arrived in time to 5.3 on the Richter scale was felt by citizens in the quake zone on the western and architecture are powerful.
