BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: National Alliance MP Khalid Al-Asadi said today that "our differences with Iraqiyah bloc could be solved by respecting agreements and not resorting to threat and pressures languages, as well as not asking extra demands."
Asadi told Aswat al-Iraq that "the meeting of President Jalal Talabani with the political entities could be a success to convene all elements in the round table to start new dialogues."
He pointed that differences with Iraqiyah bloc could be solved by depending on basic agreements and not asking new demands.
For the last five months, Iraqiyah and State of Law bloc have their differences on some articles of Arbil agreement, including the Higher Strategic Council.
As regards the stay of US forces, Asadi pointed out "it is connected with a decisive stand by the political blocs, so that the government will decide its position either to have a new agreement or not."
He pointed out that the National Alliance did not crystallize a definitive and official stand on this question "but we do not see any necessity to conclude a new agreement with the American side."
