Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the demonstrations that came out on Friday and Bahrain, and prevent the king from attending the Arab summit does not represent the government's position, and each group has the freedom to express its opinion and the law protects it, but the government and the government's position is committed to the position of the Arab League.
Al-Dabbagh that every Arab state governor, without exception, emphasized his country's participation in the Baghdad summit, and pointed out that Saturday will see the Ministerial Meeting of the summit to set their own agenda and topics to be discussed at the time.
It should be noted that the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his consent to participate in the Baghdad summit to strengthen Arab solidarity and to emphasize the importance of the return of Iraq to exercise its role in the Arab and regional levels.
It is noted that hundreds of followers of the Sadrist movement demonstrated in support of the revolution in Bahrain and asked not to invite the King of Bahrain for the Arab summit.
