Baghdad (AIN)- Kuwaiti newspapers expressed important for Nuri al-Maliki visit to Kuwait. After mid night newspapers said that the deputy of US president Joe Boyden made two telephone calls with Kuwaiti Prince and Iraqi PM but it didn’t mentioned whether it related to visit or not. Al-Qabas newspaper, according to reliable diplomats sources, mentioned that” the expecting visit of Iraqi PM Nuri al-Maliki is extremely important for bilateral relations between the two countries because it will cover the most obstacle files such as Mubark Port, joint oil fields, debts, aviation, maintaining boarders bench marks and marine conventions. Concerning Mubark port the sources assured that Kuwait will emphasized to Iraq its official stand which it had announced last Ramadan that it is its right to construct it and it does not harming navigation movement in the Iraqi side. The sources also mentioned that the joint oil fields will be discussed for better organizes the work mechanism and Kuwait will inform Iraq on the necessity of maintaining the border points. Among the other issues that will be discussed are the cooperation between Iraqi navy forces and Kuwaiti coast guards in order to organize the works of Iraqi fishermen and avoiding entering the Kuwaiti local water regions and fighting drugs smuggling. Concerning debts the two side will discusses new scheduling based on investments bases but concerning the compensations the sources said that it is not within the discussions issues basically because it is related to UN resolutions.
