Kuwaiti, Iraqi PMs mull bolstering ties

KUWAIT, March 14 (KUNA) -- His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Wednesday at Bayan Palace visiting Iraqi Premier Nouri Al-Maliki and the delegation accompanying him.
HH Sheikh Jaber and Iraqi Premier Al-Maliki discussed bolstering bilateral ties and cooperation on all domains. They also tackled the latest regional and international developments.
Following the meeting, Iraqi Prime Minister said he felt, through the talks, Kuwaiti leadership's honest desire to resolve all unresolved issues with Iraq, adding that they have agreed on resolving some of these issues.
Both sides will continue efforts, with this positive spirit, to resolve all pending issues, Al-Maliki said.
For his part, Sheikh Jaber said that there is clear-cut directives from His Highness the Amir to do all that is necessary to render Iraqi Premier's visit to Kuwait successful through effective positive moves.
He added that there is nothing obstructing talks and cooperation with Iraq.
