Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Mohamed al-Sayhoud, of the State of Law Coalition assured that "The sides which hurdle the political process are the same sides which attempt to create tension between Iraq and Kuwait."
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "Iraq and Kuwait have the genuine desire to settle all the pending issues which will be reflected positively on the situation in the country."
"It is time to develop positive bilateral relations with Kuwait which could be accomplished through the visit of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to Kuwait," he continued.
"Achieving political or economical advantages at the expense of the other country is not good for Kuwait or Iraq," he added, stressing that "The policy of the Iraqi Government aims at establishing good relations with the neighboring countries."
The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, visited Kuwait on last Wednesday in a one-day visit which comes in response to an invitation from his Kuwaiti Counterpart.
Maliki, heading the Iraqi delegation, conducted fruitful talks with the Kuwaiti side over the pending issues. /End/
