The President Jalal Talabani received on Tuesday, the credentials of the new Saudi ambassador to the non-resident, becoming the first ambassador of the Kingdom in Iraq for more than 20 years.

He added that "the government will work to conclude bilateral agreements with Qatar and Bahrain, the UAE and some countries of the Maghreb and that coincide with the presence of senior government officials from these countries at the summit"
She continued, "These agreements, mostly economic in nature and may be security or judicial, as happened with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait at the Iraqi delegations to visit her earlier this month."
The Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari had announced earlier in the evening on the participation of 9 to 10 Arab leaders at the Arab summit of the 23 which will be held on Thursday in the capital Baghdad.
