Talabani: Summit of Baghdad ended the isolation of Iraq and will bring more stability

Erbil, March 31 / March (Rn) - Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Saturday that the Arab summit conference hosted by Baghdad two days ago, ended the Arab and international isolation imposed on Iraq in the nineties of last century, and pointed out that he will bring more stability.
And embraced the Iraqi capital last Thursday, the first Arab summit two decades ago and was attended by ten of the leaders including Talabani amid tight security.
Talabani said in a letter of thanks to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said that "the Arab summit in Baghdad has become ... a sign of the collapse of the walls of isolation imposed on Iraq since the beginning of the defunct dictatorial regime and reckless adventures blatant aggression against neighbors."
He added that the summit "demonstrates the credibility and success of the efforts made by the Iraqi national forces to build state institutions and its joint efforts to achieve national harmony and stability, and openness to our surroundings and the Arab region."
Talabani said that "the success of the summit is a success for the people and the Government of Iraq at present and in the future and what it has to be achieved without the blessed efforts made by the Iraqi government, which Ttrossounaa and dedication of leaders and employees of the armed forces and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries and stakeholders."
Talabani said the first Kurdish head of the Arab summit that holding the summit in Baghdad, "will be a help to achieve greater stability and national unity."
