Warned a member of the Committee of Economy and Investment of the parliamentary system to return to work because of its customs tariff of the negative impact on low-income people.
A member of the Committee Aziz Mayahi in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that "Back to the introduction of customs tariff at the present time will reflect negatively on low-income families through the weakness of their purchasing power at the high prices of imported goods in general."
We will strive to prevent the adoption of this law in the House of Representatives in order to avoid damage Selhgaha class poor will not be strong enough to cope with the sudden rise in prices," adding that "the House of Representatives will bear full responsibility for all the economic implications arising from this law if passed."
It is said that the House of Representatives decided to suspend the customs Tariff Act No. [22] for the year 2010 to be implemented in the thirtieth of June 2012 and traced back to the Council of Ministers in order to determine the appropriate time to apply it according to economic requirements.
