Baghdad (news) .. Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during their meeting this evening in Tehran, the need to implement the bilateral agreements signed between the two countries.
A statement by Maliki's office has received the Agency (news) a copy of it on Sunday: The two sides stressed the need to implement the agreements and bilateral memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries, especially in the areas of trade, industry and sectors of housing and reconstruction.
The focus was also during the meeting to strengthen cooperation in energy and supplying Iraq with more quantities of electric power.
The statement added that the Prime Minister stressed the need for the development of bilateral relations and exchange of visits between officials of the two countries, two sides also exchanged views on current developments in the region and the need to take all necessary measures to keep the atmosphere of tension.
The statement pointed to: that Ahmadinejad expressed the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to activate bilateral cooperation in all fields Pmaakhaddm interest of the two neighbors. / Finished / s. P /
