Iraq returns confiscated property for Kuwaiti Radio

Follow-up (AIN) -The Ministry of Information announced that “The State of Kuwait has received 27 boxes containing tapes that belongs to the Radio Station of Kuwait’s archive from of the Republic of Iraq which was seized during the former Iraqi regime’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990.”
The Kuwaiti official news agency (Kona) said "This archive contains a wide range of assets to programs produced by Radio of Kuwait in addition to features of the property recovered assets to the songs of Kuwaiti and Arab captured by the Iraqi Former regime."
The director of International Organizations Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Jasim Mubarak al-Mubarak said that “Restoring some of Kuwaiti property is without doubt a step forward." /End/
