"Gate of Iraq" BAGHDAD - Secretary-General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Ayad al-Samarrai said Sunday that "calls for Maliki to dialogue is not sufficient to demonstrate the firm stand of the political crisis experienced by the country in the current period, but must take the first steps to renew talks with his opponents rather than waiting for them ".
He added that "al-Maliki that translates the initiatives for dialogue on the ground through his call for all parties seriously and deal with those who respond to his call and leave those who do not respond to them to be in this case leading to him and seeking earnestly to find a way out of the political crisis suffocating ".
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki launched in the recent period a number of initiatives which require dialogue to resolve the deepening political crisis that has plagued Iraq in the current period.
