Talabani, leader of the party: a Kurdish state will be announced within the next ten years

Baghdad {: News} Euphrates said Mullah Bakhtiar, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), "The opportunity has not yet come to declare an independent Kurdish state."
He said according to the newspaper Echtaara {} Kurdish Rodao that the opportunity has not yet come to declare an independent Kurdish state and expressed his belief that it will happen within the next ten years.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Mohammad, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party told the newspaper that he must convince the neighbors that the issue of declaration of a Kurdish state will not affect them negatively, and this issue should be resolved peacefully with Baghdad.
