Baghdad (AIN) –Baghdad Municipality invited the Dutch companies to participate in implementing projects of reconstruction and other investments in Baghdad.
A statement issued by Baghdad Municipality to AIN cited Monday "The Undersecretary of Baghdad Municipality for municipal affairs, Naem al-Kabey, hosted the Dutch ambassador and representative of a Dutch company specialized in agriculture sector and discussed with them the means to promote the mutual cooperation in order to expand the participation of the Dutch companies in reconstruction projects.''
The statement added that ''Baghdad Municipality is interested in participation of the Dutch companies in rebuilding Baghdad for its material and human abilities in addition to its expertise and we hope to increase the cooperation to include concluding agreements and implementing projects in Baghdad to improve the services level in the Iraqi Capital.''
The Dutch ambassador stressed on ''The desire of his country to cooperate with Baghdad Municipality through urging the Dutch companies to expend its participation in implementing construction as well as increasing the green areas in Baghdad in order to improve the environment in Baghdad.
