{Baghdad, Euphrates News} A member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Bayazid Hassan said that his committee was granted additional powers to the provinces to facilitate contracting with investors in the field of electricity.

The witness actually supply in the Iraq crisis sharply after 1991 because of the targeting power plants in the first Gulf War as well as economic sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council on the country because of the occupation of Kuwait and has not seen any improvement in the processing of citizen power despite the fall of the regime in 2003 Despite the enormous cost incurred by the State to develop electricity without actually there to be any significant improvement.

Hassan said in a statement to the Euphrates News Agency {} on Wednesday that "the Commission on oil and energy given by its electrical system before converting to the investment powers of the many for all the provinces to facilitate contracting with investors in the field of electricity."

He added that the "investment decision came after the electricity failed and the Ministry of Electricity in fact, improve the supply in Iraq because the investment for the future electricity can solve the problem and provides electricity to the citizens because it is something essential to the citizen."

The Iraqi Council of Representatives voted earlier in the Law on Investment of the electrical system by turning them to investors that they can help in improving the electrical power after the failure of the Ministry of Electricity in this regard. Ended 11 p.m.
