ERBIL, Aug.9 (AKnews)- After the holy month of Ramadan Iranian and Kurdistan chambers of commerce and industry will sign "decisive" agreements, said Iranian Consul General to Erbil, Ozaym Hosseini.
A delegation from Kurdistan Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry was invited by Iranian Consulate in Erbil for iftar yesterday.
After meeting and iftar with the delegation, Hosseini told Kurdpress that a large trade delegation from Erbil will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran after Ramadan.
He added the delegation will meet with Iranian commerce and trade chambers and senior officials and sign several "decisive" agreements to boost the trade exchange volume.
Hosseni did not provide further details.
"We are happy that day by day our relations with Iran are progressing more," said Dara Jalil Khayyat, head of the Kurdistan Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, who was also invited to yesterday's iftar feast.
The official continued "the trade cooperation between Iran and Kurdistan Region is at a stage that now we consider larger and more important projects."
He added Kurdistan Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry has strong relations with the Iranian chambers, especially those of the bordering cities with Kurdistan and the Union plans to improve the relations more.
