Erbil, 17 August / August (Rn) - The decision of the Committee on Finance and Economics in the Parliament of Kurdistan, on Friday, the inability of the Government of the territory to complete a bill going forward the public for the next year in a timely manner and forwarded to the Parliament, because the preparation of the budget is subject to the ratification of the federal budget.
The Kurdistan Regional Government announced during the last few days of the start of work on the preparation of the general budget of the region for the next year for submission to parliament as scheduled.
According to Hussain Fares Mahmoud, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "can be the Ministry of Planning Government of the region start preparing the budget investment to the region for the next year, as can the Ministry of Finance required to other ministries to prepare their budgets projected for the year 2013, and thus, prepare the general budget of Kurdistan for the next year and forwarded to the Council of Ministers" .
He said Mahmoud "Despite that, but it is incumbent upon the Ministry of Finance Government of the region waiting for approval of the Iraqi parliament on the budget Union of Iraq for the next year to forward the draft budget bill for Kurdistan in 2013 to the Council of Ministers, because the budget of the region depends primarily on the share of Kurdistan from the federal budget."
He added by saying that "if the authentication Kurdish parliament the draft law on the general budget of the region for the next year before the ratification of the federal budget, and the discovery that the funds estimated to balance the region is greater than its share of the federal budget, it will have Parliament amend the general budget of the region for the next year."
