MP for NAC calls on Maliki to intervene personally to resolve the outstanding issues with Kuwait as soon as possible.

Bghdad / NINA /-- MP for Fadheela bloc within the National Alliance , Sozan al-Saad said “ The weakness of the diplomatic representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq makes it imperative for Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's rapid intervention to resolve all outstanding issues with Kuwait during a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart for the purpose of reaching a solution.
Saad said to Nina /: the Iraqi government ought to be more serious in discussion of outstanding issues with Kuwait and that does not rely on the Foreign Ministery that do not have any significant role in Iraq's relations with neighboring countries.
Saad wondered about what she called Arab and international silence towards the excesses of neighboring countries either Kuwait or Iran and even Turkey. / End
