Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Islamic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan stressed “The need to administrate Diyala affairs jointly.”
A statement by the IIP cited that “A delegation from the IIP headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Party, Salim al-Jubouri, visited, on last Monday, the Political Office of the PUK headed by the Mula Biktyar in Sulaimaniya.”
Jubouri assured that “The members of the IIP are keen to maintain the friendship bonds with the PUK,” he added referring to the Common Commission formed during the last meeting of Diyala Governorate to run affairs of Diyala province, expressing the “IIP’s welcome to run the province commonly through partnership.”
“For his part, Biktyar praised the relations between the PUK and the IIP in Diyala province hoping to reflect these relations on all provinces,” the statement concluded.
