Iraqi agriculture to ratify the treatment of more than a thousand lend $ 27 billion dinars

Erbil, July 17 (Rn) - The Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture on Sunday, for ratification of the treatment of more than a thousand lending to farmers and farmers $ 27 billion dinars during the last session of the Governing Council funds lending specialist.

The ministry said in its statement that "the amounts of such loans amounted to about 27 billion dinars, of which 21 billion and 683 million for the farmers and peasants."
She explained that the "loans for farmers and peasants were distributed boxes of livestock development by (122) transaction amounts of $ 5 billion and 810 million dinars, and small farmers (155) transaction amounts of $ two billion and 490 million dinars, and mechanization and irrigation projects (645) transaction amounts of $ 9 billion and 829 million dinars, and the development of palm (91) Treatment of amounts of $ 784 million dinars, and major investment projects (3) transactions in amounts of $ two billion and 769 million dinars. "
The ministry said in its statement that "the Board approved the granting of loans for the rehabilitation and operation coefficient of companies located in Diyala, a company of Iraq to the food industry, the company Rivers of food, the company penalty for the confectionery industry, and the State Company for production and packaging of foodstuffs in amounts of $ 6 billion dinars."
And ratified by the Ministry of Agriculture on agricultural lending transactions exceeded the amounts of (834) billion dinars, including various agricultural areas for the development and rehabilitation of agricultural projects in the country since the start of an initiative promoting agricultural reality.
The former Iraqi government has launched a comprehensive initiative to promote the agricultural reality in the country in July 2007, set a time limit of ten years to reach the stage of Iraq's self-sufficiency in strategic crops.
The initiative includes, among other things, support the farmers with seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural and land reclamation, and ensure the purchase of production of strategic crops at market prices and control of animal diseases, agricultural and financial aid to farmers and farmers.
