Government approves an oil service contracts for a number of exploratory patches

The Cabinet decided Tuesday, approving the conclusion of the Ministry of oil service contracts to a number of exploratory patches and wait until the completion of the relevant procedures, the Council also approved amending the agricultural lending in 2009.
Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh in a statement released today, "the Cabinet decided at its 42nd, today, approving the Ministry of oil to conclude and sign a service contract for exploratory patches (12, 10,
and wait for the signature and conclusion of the contract the Board no. 9 of the Ministry of oil while updating some procedures."
Dabbagh said "the Council also decided to approve the draft law first amendment law of agricultural loan fund for peasants and small farmers no. 28 of 2009, the checker by the State Council and submitted to the Iraqi Council of representatives, based on the provisions of articles (61/item first and 80/item 2) of the Constitution, taking into account the proposals of the legal service of the Council of Ministers, with regard to granting Cabinet power increase and allocate capital and lending ceiling."
The oil Ministry was signed, mid-July, preliminary contracts to rehabilitate exploratory patches 8, 9, 10 and 12 international oil companies won in the fourth round of oil licenses.
