The Iraqi oil Ministry, revealed Friday, near the advertised special fifth round of licences patches invasive exploratory, noting that the objective of Iraq at the present time is the interest in the gas industry, investment optimization.
And Foreign Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in an interview for "alsumaria news", that "Iraq will soon announce their fifth licensing round patches of exploratory natural gas", stating that "places and prepare patches invasive exploratory will be announced later."
Jihad said that "exploratory gas patches that were chosen to be advertised is a distinct form of exploratory patches as a catalyst for global companies to develop competent oil and gas in Iraq", adding that "the aim of Iraq at the present time is the interest in the gas industry, investment optimization."
Jihad said that "Iraq could during the first and second rounds of licenses from achieving its objectives in the development of oil fields, he now seeks to develop the gas fields with the aim of maximizing its reserves and gas producer and exporter, as well as achieve higher revenues, which would further the Iraqi budget."
The oil Ministry said in March last year, on the fourth round of licences to develop 12 locations, including seven sites gas exploratory and five oil sites spread over 6500 km spread over ten governorates, namely, Anbar, Ninawa, Diwaniyah, Najaf, Babil, Wasit Muthanna, Diyala, Basra and Dhi Qar.
