Parliament demand Government to spend complementary budget on services

Baghdad (AIN) –The Economic Parliamentary Committee confirmed that the Parliament will not punish the the government if it acted rationally in dealing with the complementary budget pointing that "The Parliament does not oppose the Government as long as it is being honest in providing the services for the people and the appointments for unemployed people.''
The Head of the Committee, Ahmed Hassan Fayadh Allua, stated in statement to AIN that ''The Minister of State for the Parliament Affairs has the right to refuse the presentation of the complementary budget project since the Iraqi Law stipulates that the Complementary budget project should not be offered to the Parliament once again if the Parliament did not accept it.''
The Kurdistani Alliance's MP added that ''This procedure is totally legal and a law draft should not submitted to the Parliament twice in the same duration," pointing that ''The Government can address the budget according to the Article 23 related of distributing the funds among the poor and other needy people.'' \ End\
