Talabani, Maliki stress adopting serious steps to settle political disputes

Baghdad (AIN) –The President, Jalal Talabani, and the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, stressed "The necessity of adopting serious steps to solve the political disputes among the political sides."
Presidential statement received by AIN cited "Talabani received Maliki on Saturday morning where they discussed the political problems and the disputes in depth," noting that "They emphasized the brotherly dialogues and the positive discussions to settle the disputes."
"Both sides praised the intended visit of a delegation from Kurdistan Region considering it as a positive step to solve the disputes between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government," the statement added.
"Both sides' visions and opinions were identical over the importance of respecting the constitution and the agreements concluded among all the political sides to eliminate the impediments that hurdle the political process," the statement concluded. /End/
