Early parliamentary source disclosed that the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq will arrive today to Baghdad, expecting to be arrested upon arrival.
A source in the Finance Committee parliamentary Baghdadi News that the central bank governor will return to Baghdad today after a period of leave to Tokyo last month to participate in an annual conference there, the source added that there are news spin on the arrest Shabibi after arriving, noting at the same time that the charges against Hbibi still unclear was waived after the investigation and that it may be detected for other people and officials involved corruption issues that concern the central bank and recently raised money laundering operations.
