Khandan - said Faisal Abdullah, a spokesman for Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani, said Friday that Iraq is better between Russian Gazprom oil cancel their agreements with the Kurdistan region or withdraw from its contract to develop the Badra oil field.
And bought "Gazprom denied" the oil arm of Gazprom Russian gas export monopoly in August stakes in two concessions in Kurdistan province of following similar moves from other companies such as Exxon and Total.
Said Abdullah told "Reuters" that Iraq had sent a letter to Gazprom late October requesting a formal response to Tejeerha cancel the agreements signed with the Kurdistan Regional Government or a full withdrawal from the Badra oil field.
The Gazprom said last year it expects to begin production in Badra by 15 thousand barrels per day in August 2013. The company develops the field that contains reserves estimated at 100 million barrels and located near the border with Iran.
