Kaz announced that Russian Gazprom, on Thursday, it had begun pilot production of the oil field Badra Card 7000 barrels per day, saying that it plans to start commercial production end of the year 2014.
Said First Deputy Chief Executive Officer Vadim Yakovlev said in a statement received "Alsumaria News", a copy of which, "The company has completed tests well in Badra oil field in Wasit province, was pilot production from card 7000 barrels per day."
Yakovlev added that "the company plans to start commercial production of the field that is likely to be at the end of the current year 2014."
