Talabani receives U.S. ambassador

President of the Republic in Baghdad on Monday, U.S. Ambassador James Jeffrey, U.S. commander Gen. Lloyd Austin, the two new Ambassadors Michele Sison and Peter I would like in addition to a number of embassy staff.
It was in the meeting which was attended by Dr. Rose Nuri Shaways Deputy Prime Minister Search in bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and issues of common concern.
It was also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and action between the two countries in the light of the agreement signed between them and to serve the interests of both peoples.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Jeffrey and Gen. Austin the vital role that his President of the Republic in the promotion of convergence of the Iraqi National, His Excellency thankful for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
