MoE grants 165 environmental licenses in Maysan

Baghdad (AIN) –The Ministry of Environment granted environmental licenses for several industrial, agricultural and services activities in Maysan province after conducting the field visits by its supervisory teams within Maysan environment directorate.
The Ministry of Environment reported in statement received by AIN on Saturday ''The Ministry has granted (165) environment approvals to establish various projects according to the environmental legislations,'' pointing out that ''The environmental consents were given for private and state institutions.''
''Maysan environment directorate will continue granting environmental licenses to ensure success of these projects under the environmental controls to revitalize local economy,'' the statement added.
