Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki during a meeting with Executive Director of Exxon Mobil on his activity should be consistent with the Iraqi Constitution explanation "that the oil belongs to all Iraqis."

The statement quoted al-Maliki as saying that "it is essential that Exxon Mobil activity is consistent with the Iraqi Constitution that oil belongs to all Iraqis."

Al-Maliki said that "the oil Ministry will do all it can to solve the problems and obstacles to the work of the oil companies operating in Iraq, and Iraq has very large investment opportunities for investment".
Tylerson said his company was keen to "continue and expand its work in Iraq, and that it would take important decisions in this area."
