Iraq set an intermediate article VII of the international chemical weapons Convention

The
Foreign Ministry said on Monday Iraq "facilitator" designation of
article VII of the chemical weapons Convention, said a statement posted
by "informed" that "Iraq's permanent representative organization for the
prohibition of chemical weapons has set Iraq as the facilitator of
article VII of the chemical weapons Convention following approval by all
States parties on the Executive Board of the organization in the
seventy-first session, held in 19 of the month".
"The
facilitator involve reconciling the obligations of States parties and
the requirements of the Convention under agenda item 7, located in two
main aspects: first public pledges that each State party shall adopt, in
accordance with constitutional procedures, the measures necessary to
implement their obligations under this Convention."
The statement
added that "the task of facilitator regulating relations between the
State party and the Organization should each State under the Convention
to designate or establish a national authority acts as the national
focal point for effective liaison with the Organization and other States
parties.
He noted that "this achievement that the Permanent
Mission of Iraq organization will be a successful new Iraqi diplomacy in
international organizations specializing in weapons of mass destruction
and Iraq's keenness on promoting and supporting international peace and
security."
