GCC Ministerial Council welcomes start the maintenance process marks the border between Kuwait and Iraq

Riyadh - 3 - 3 (KUNA) - The Ministerial Council welcomed the Gulf (foreign ministers) to begin the process of maintenance of border markers between Kuwait and Iraq and to speed up the removal of abuses of Iraqi hinder maintenance according to the schedule prepared for this matter pursuant to resolution 833 and the completion of the issue of compensation farmers Iraqis in implementation of resolution 899.
The Council also welcomed the final statement of its 126, which concluded here tonight agreement between Kuwait and Iraq on the organization of maritime navigation in the Khor Abdullah, as well as their agreement to drop the suits and judgments for Iraqi Airways.
The Council demanded that efforts be intensified to identify the fate of the remaining prisoners and missing persons of Kuwaiti and other nationals of other countries and the return of property and the National Archives of the State of Kuwait urged the United Nations and other bodies related to continue in its efforts to end these commitments.
In regard Bahraini praised Council efficiently and alert the security services in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the detection of a terrorist cell and display information and evidence to prove the involvement of third parties in the establishment of this cell and its participation in the planning, financing and training.
The support of the Council and its support of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all their actions to protect its security and stability and ensure the safety of its community.
The Council renewed emphasis on its firm position rejecting the continued occupation of Iran Islands three UAE Greater and Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa and support the right of sovereignty Emirates on these islands and the territorial waters, airspace, continental shelf and exclusive economic zone of the islands as an integral part of the United Arab Emirates.
He expressed indignation and condemnation of the inspection tour, which announced the members of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Affairs Iranian Shura Council resolved to do to these islands considering it a violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates on its territory.
He stressed the need for Iran's full commitment to the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of peaceful settlement of disputes and non-use of force or threat of force.
The Ministerial Council expressed its regret at the lack of progress in the talks, which took place recently in Kazakhstan among the group (5 +1) and Iran, praising the group's position not to accept Iran's request for the inclusion of the issue of the situation in Syria and Bahrain in any negotiations between the two sides.
And on the crisis in Syria, the Council stressed the importance of seeking to unite the international vision to reach a peaceful transfer of power and the adoption of Security Council resolution under Chapter VII to protect civilians and save the blood of the Syrian people, security and unity and stability of Syria.
The Council demanded ministerial parties in Syria and the international community بالتعاطي with the initiative of President "National Coalition for the revolutionary forces and the Syrian opposition aimed to agree with the parties to the regime who have not stained their hands with the blood of the Syrian people on the steps to fast transfer of authority and the need for the Security Council to issue a binding decision sets a clear methodology and timeframe for talks .
He praised the outcome of the International Conference on High-level support humanitarian situation in Syria in Kuwait last January and expressed his appreciation to all the countries and organizations and donor institutions that have pledged financial contributions exceeding 5.1 billion U.S. dollars to achieve humanitarian goals desired from this conference.
On the situation in the Palestinian territories and the developments of the Arab - Israeli Ministerial Council stressed that a comprehensive peace and a just and lasting can be achieved only complete withdrawal of Israel from the Arab territories occupied in 1967 in Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan and the lands still occupied in southern Lebanon and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem Eastern.

In regard GCC Ministerial Council approved the preparation of a strategic study to link the payment systems of the GCC States and the adoption of the necessary financial costs to operate and maintain the customs information center and the proposed budget for the first year of the Statistical Center of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Ministerial Council renewed the fixed positions of the GCC countries to renounce terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations and welcomed the efforts of the Government of Mali to restore the territorial integrity of the country and the state power and stability, stressing the importance of a comprehensive political dialogue open between national components under the auspices of the United Nations.
