Oil Ministers of Iraq, Egypt, Jordan to hold meeting

Baghdad (AIN) –The Oil Ministers of Iraq, Egypt and Jordan will hold a meeting to discuss the possibility of installing an oil pipeline to export the oil among the three countries.
The Egyptian Oil Minster, Osama Kamal, stated in a pres conference on the margins of the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Baghdad, "The Iraqi and Egyptian oil ministries signed an agreement over providing Egypt with 4 Million oil barrels of the crude oil monthly by Iraq by the Iraqi Oil Trading Company SOMO."
"The agreement will suit the need of Egypt of the oil where it produces 22 thousand tones daily and consumes 35 thousands," he added.
"A meeting among the Iraqi, Jordanian and Egyptian Oil Ministers will be held within the next week to install an oil pipeline that exports the oil among the three countries," he pointed out, assuring that "The participation of the Egyptian companies, Petrogent and Anpi, was in the installation of the pipeline was discussed during the meeting where the Iraqi side welcomed them according to the conditions of the Iraqi oil ministry."
"The issue of exporting the Iraqi oil to the storages of Sidi Karir was also discussed in the meeting," he concluded.
