Baghdad (AIN) -The Kurdistani Alliance decided to challenge the Federal Budget law at the Federal Court if ratified without the approval of the Alliance.
The spokesperson of the KA, Muayed al-Tayib said in a press conference he held at the parliament building "We strongly regret the State of Law Coalition's insistence on endorsing the federal budget of 2013 without adopting the proposals of the KA concerning the constitution's article No. 140, Peshmerga Ministry's budget, and the financial dues of the foreign oil companied operating in Kurdistan," noting "This represents serious step in ignoring the national accord's principles on which the new state of Iraq was built."
The Iraqi parliament has voted during Wednesday session on a number of the federal budget's items including Kurdistan Region's budget amid the KA's boycott for the session. /End/
