Activists launch a project to activate economic laws passed by parliament in years

Announced politicians, MPs and Iraqi economists and a number of civil society organizations, on Wednesday, launching a campaign to activate economic laws passed by Parliament earlier, stressing that activated will contribute to the development of the Iraqi economy and protect the local industry.
This came during a conference launching policy papers to the laws regulating trade and consumer protection and system trade names, held by the pool (Iraq 2020) in collaboration with the Center for International Private Enterprise, the presence of officials from the government and the General Secretariat of the prime minister, and a number of economists, businessmen and representatives of embassies and representatives of various international organizations .
Said Dr. Ali Alambure head pool (Iraq 2020) that "the conference was held today in order to launch a private policy papers in three special economic laws of the observatory project legal under part of a review of the nominations economic second phase."
Noting that "combines Iraq 2020 works on the subject of legislation, reviewing and issuing policy papers around as we are working continuously with all stakeholders and therefore, these papers do not represent the vision of assembly, but represents a vision the Iraqi government and the House of Representatives and the Committee on the economy and investment as well as unions businessmen and chambers trade and the Iraqi private sector. "
MP Ibrahim said stirrup member of the National Alliance, for his part, said in an interview to the (long-Presse) that "This conference is an economic conference with distinction through the activation of Iraq gathered 2020 which contributed to a number of civil society organizations."
Rikabi, that "projects organizing trade and consumer protection has been legislation in the House earlier, but did not do so far in addition to law trade names," stressing that "such a conference or workshops are very important and necessary to activate the economic laws that are prescribed in the House of Representatives Iraq. "
For his part, Dr Amir Jabbar al-Saadi said that "the Iraqi market focus for many imported goods that are not up to international standards, which believes in the need for the Iraqi community truly in line with the development in the region."
Saadi said he was "up to now there are no laws disabled despite approval a few years ago, and I think it was an obligation on the House of Representatives when the law recognizes that putting pressure on the government and the executive branch in order to activate these laws."
