Baghdad (AIN) -MP Mahdi Haji of the Kurdistani Democratic Party, headed by the President of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, accused the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki of hindering the dialogue among the political blocs.
Haji told All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "We try hard to return things to normal through calling for dialogue, but it seems that the other political sides especially the State of Law Coalition headed by Maliki don’t want any dialogue but they only give rise for problems."
He stressed that "The door is still open in front of dialogue where the Kurdish sides will keep contact with the other political parties to address the current crisis. However, if the situation remains as it is, then the Kurdistan Region will have no other alternative but to devote for economic independence till the federal government be able to correct the path of the political process."
He called on the "Iraqi National Alliance to re-adopt the previous agreements and not to marginalize the other partners." /End/
