Baghdad (NINA) – Minister of Transport, Hadi al-Amiri, said that Iraq is committed not to allow Iranian planes transport military equipments to support the Syrian Government.
In a television interview, Amiri said, "Such accusations by some countries, including America, against Iraq are untrue." He affirmed that Iraq does not take orders from America or any other country because it is a sovereign state.
He added that he himself will search Iranian planes, lands in Iraqi airports, on their way to Syria, pointing out that his action is not in response to the US Secretary of State, John Kerry.

Amiri affirmed that the Government has no intention to revoke its decision of postponing elections in Ninive and Anbar provinces. Pointing out that postponement is because of lack of security in both provinces.
