Iraq, France discuss Iran, 5+1 Group planned talks

Baghdad (AIN) -The French Ambassador to Iraq Denny Goyer, briefed the Iraqi Foreign Ministry on the latest updates in the Iranian nuclear programme and the planned negotiations between Iran and 5+1 Group in Kazakhstan.
A statement by the Iraqi FM received by AIN reported "The FM Undersecretary, Labeed Abawi, met on Wednesday with the French Ambassador to Iraq where they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries and a number of mutual issues."
"The French Ambassador briefed Abawi on the Iranian nuclear file's developments and the talks planned to be conducted in current April between Iran and 5+1 Group countries in Kazakhstan," the statement added.
"The two sides discussed the Syrian crisis as well, and the means to end the conflicts peacefully in addition to the provision of the humanitarian basic needs for the Syrian people," the statement concluded. /End
